Comprehensive Addiction and Recovery Act (CARA) Grants
Grants to support the efforts of current and former Drug Free Communities grant recipients to prevent substance use among youth by addressing local drug crises and emerging drug use issues. The focus is on prevention of opioid, methamphetamine, and prescription drug use among youth, including activities targeting rural and tribal communities.

Great Plains Center for Agricultural Health Pilot/Feasibility Projects Academic Track
Grants for academic/scientific investigators and those newly interested in agricultural safety and health research. Funding will support projects that address occupational hazards relevant to farmers and farm workers in the Great Plains region, with a focus on projects addressing work-related stress and mental health; the prevention of slips, trips, and falls; equipment/tool safety; and chemical safety.

Texas Primary Prevention of Cancer
Funding to implement evidence-based strategies to ensure that all Texans benefit from cancer prevention knowledge. Applications must include the delivery of interventions to non-metropolitan (rural) and/or medically underserved counties in the state.

Suicide Prevention ESSENCE Rapid Response Plans
