Community Facilities Program Disaster Repair Grants Inactive
Grants to repair essential community facilities in rural areas that were damaged by Presidentially Declared Disasters in calendar year 2022. An essential community facility is defined as a facility that provides an essential service to the local community for the orderly development of the community. It does not include private, commercial, or business undertakings.

Minnesota Capacity Strengthening Initiative Inactive
Funding to support community-based and faith-based organizations in strengthening their organizational infrastructure to be better equipped and prepared for success in procuring grants and contracts at the department and addressing health inequities across Minnesota. Organizations should serve people of color, American Indians, LGBTQIA+, and/or people living with disabilities. Applications from rural organizations are encouraged.

Alaska Social Justice Fund Inactive
Funding for organizations in Alaska working to eradicate systemic discrimination, increase the power of disenfranchised and under-resourced communities, and promote equal rights and equitable opportunity for all Alaskans. Health, wellness, human services, and rural communities are areas of interest, among others.

Opioid Settlement Fund Community Grant Program Inactive
Grants for organizations working to abate and alleviate the impacts of the opioid crisis and co-occurring substance use challenges in South Dakota communities. Rural behavioral health workforce, MAT training, and telehealth in rural communities are among the approved uses of funds.

Community Relations and Innovation Fund Inactive
Grants to organizations and individuals in Native communities serving their communities in areas such as youth work, community building, arts and culture, language and education/advocacy.

Equity Community Organizing (ECO) Groups to Advance Health Equity in Aging in California Inactive
Funding to organize community groups designed to reduce health inequities for older adults in California. The focus is on communities of color and communities where race and ethnicity intersect with other factors such as age, gender, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, socioeconomic status, geography, language, and/or immigration status leading to inequities.

Virginia Youth Tobacco Use Prevention Grants Inactive
Grants to prevent and reduce youth tobacco, nicotine, and vaping product use across Virginia. Funding may be used for classroom-based instruction and for projects designed to reduce disparities in young people who are at elevated risk for being impacted by tobacco and nicotine (including rural youth).

Grants for Native community projects in the areas of traditional foodways, health and healing, language revitalization, and cultural knowledge sharing.

Grants to community-based nonprofits to serve as Benefits Enrollment Centers that work to find and enroll eligible adults in 5 core federal benefit programs. Focuses on serving certain target population groups, including people living in rural areas.
