Student Leaders in Public Health Program
Awards for college students to support public health focused field placements and faculty-student collaborative projects. Field placements working with medically underserved, rural, and tribal populations are encouraged.

Healthy Oregon Workforce Training Opportunity (HOWTO) Grant Program
Grants to support innovative, transformative, community-based health professional training initiatives in Oregon that will address identified local healthcare workforce shortages and expand the diversity of the health professional workforce.

Kansas Bridging Plan
Loan forgiveness for resident physicians working in primary care, obstetrics and gynecology, and psychiatry who agree to a service contract to work in rural areas of Kansas.

Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant (EMPA) Fellowship
An 18-month fellowship for physician assistants with Gundersen Health System in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Fellows will learn from board-certified emergency physicians and physician assistants at a Level II Trauma Center, rural emergency departments, and with ground and air emergency crews.

Behavioral Health Workforce Education and Training (BHWET) Program for Professionals
Grants to develop and expand experiential training opportunities, such as field placements and internships, to improve the distribution and supply of the behavioral health workforce. The program emphasizes relationships with community-based partners to increase access to quality behavioral health services in high need and high demand areas, such as rural communities.

Graduate Psychology Education Program
Grants to train doctoral health service psychology students, interns, and postdoctoral residents in integrated, interdisciplinary behavioral health. This includes opioid use and substance use in high-need underserved and rural populations.
