VA Quality Scholars Fellowship
Two-year residential fellowship for clinicians who are interested in making veteran healthcare equitable and accessible for marginalized and rural populations. Fellows split their time between in-person clinical work, independent studies, and structured didactics while guided by a set of experienced mentors.

Behavioral Health Workforce Development Technical Assistance and Evaluation Program
A cooperative agreement with a single entity to provide tailored technical assistance for current and future grant recipients under specific HRSA funded programs. Applicants must have experience in developing or assisting behavioral health workforce development programs in high need and high demand areas, and with rural and/or medically underserved communities.

Distance Learning and Telemedicine Program Grants
Grants to help rural communities use advanced telecommunications technology to connect to each other (and the world) overcoming the effects of remoteness and low population density. Projects that promote equity and economic opportunity in rural America are encouraged.

North Carolina Science Enrichment Preparation Program
An academic enrichment program that targets first-generation, underrepresented minority, rural, and/or socioeconomically disadvantaged undergraduate students in North Carolina who would like to attend medical or dental school.

Arkansas Honors Program for Rural and Urban Underserved Primary Care Medicine
A 4-year program for first year medical students at University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences designed to prepare students to provide comprehensive medical care for underserved populations in both urban and rural settings in the state.

Northwest Center for Public Health Practice Student Project Stipends
Stipends for students working on practice-based projects in public health organizations in the northwest region.

American Psychiatric Association Diversity Leadership Fellowship
A 2-year fellowship for minority psychiatry residents or those interested in minority and vulnerable populations. Activities are designed to prepare residents to teach, administer, and provide culturally competent, evidence based mental health and substance abuse services for diverse minority groups and at-risk populations. Populations include American Indians, Native Alaskans, Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, Native Pacific Islanders, Black/African Americans, Hispanics/Latinos, LGBTQ, and religious minorities.

Nursing Workforce Diversity Program
Funding to assist students from disadvantaged backgrounds in becoming registered nurses using evidence-based strategies to support nursing students from enrollment through graduation. The purpose is to expand and support a workforce to provide quality, culturally-aligned care to rural and underserved communities in need.

Postdoctoral Training in General, Pediatric, and Public Health Dentistry
Grants to plan, develop, operate, or participate in, postdoctoral training programs in community-based organizations in the fields of general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, and dental public health. Programs should prepare postdoctoral trained dentists to improve access to and delivery of oral healthcare delivery to underserved, health disparity, and rural populations.

South Carolina Rural Provider Incentive Program
Cash incentive awards for physicians and advanced practice professionals who agree to practice in a Health Professional Shortage Area of South Carolina.
