A program that places clinical psychology, master of social work, physician, physician assistant, medical laboratory science, nurse practitioner, pharmacy, nursing, physical and occupational therapy students from South Dakota in a 3 or 4-week experience with preceptors established in rural areas of South Dakota.

Oregon Primary Care Loan Forgiveness Program
Forgivable loans for medical, physician assistant, nurse practitioner, dental, and pharmacy students in exchange for a service obligation at an approved rural practice site in Oregon.

Maryland Income Tax Credit for Preceptors in Areas with Health Care Workforce Shortages
Tax credit of $1,000 per student for physicians and nurse practitioners serving as preceptors in underserved areas of Maryland.

Minnesota Rural Advanced Practice Provider Loan Forgiveness Program

A multidisciplinary certificate program for health professions students in Virginia that offers opportunities for hands-on training, experience in rural and underserved communities, and networking with other students and professionals.

West Virginia Health Sciences Service Program
Loan repayment assistance for certain health professions students who agree to practice in an underserved area of West Virginia upon graduation.

Behavioral Health Workforce Education and Training (BHWET) Program for Professionals
Grants to develop and expand experiential training opportunities, such as field placements and internships, to improve the distribution and supply of the behavioral health workforce. The program emphasizes relationships with community-based partners to increase access to quality behavioral health services in high need and high demand areas, such as rural communities.

Iowa Primary Care Provider Loan Repayment Program
Educational loan repayment assistance for primary care health professionals in return for a 2 year service commitment in a Health Professional Shortage Area in Iowa.
