Module 7: Dissemination of Rural Diabetes Program Best Practices
Disseminating results is an important step in building and maintaining relationships with project partners and funders. It is also important to gain local support and buy-in from the community.
Rural programs are disseminating their projects in different ways—from participating in meetings at regional and national conferences to crafting annual reports and issue briefs. Programs are reporting their results to stakeholders including county public health departments, county commissioners, state government staff, school superintendents, faith-based organizations, and other regional and local entities.
