Program Overview: Horizon Health is a nonprofit organization dedicated to
substance use disorder treatment, operating full-service recovery campuses in London, Gray, and
Williamsburg, Kentucky. The treatment centers provide primary care, behavioral health, case
management, onsite child care, and employment services. Horizon Health also enhances access to
care through its telehealth and transportation services.
Patients receive outpatient behavioral health services in the form of individual therapy, group therapy, and medical substance use disorder treatment. Horizon Health uses a holistic approach to substance use disorders that focuses on treating the "whole person" through evidence-based and individualized treatment plans customized to each patient.
Beyond treatment, Horizon Health is committed to education, prevention, and awareness. Their #NoShame, #EndTheStigma, and #EmbraceYourStory campaigns facilitate open conversations and promote understanding of substance use disorders and recovery. Transitional housing is also offered as a substance-free environment for individuals in recovery.
